The work is devoted to the experimental determination of the sensitivity of the active neutron method for determining the content of nuclear-hazardous fissile nuclides (FN) in radioactive waste packages in the form of 200-liter barrels filled with cement. The measurement results made it possible to determine the minimum detectable mass of FN in the amount of 10 mg (for 235U) at a pulsed neutron generator flux of 5?108 n/s, a measurement duration of 200 s and the use of two neutron detection modules based on the neutron monitoring systems TSRM82.100 or TSRM82.300
