DETECTION OF ABSORBED GAMMA-RADIATION DOZE IN INTENSIVE RADIOACTIVE FIELDS WITH THE USE OF CHEMICAL DOSIMETRY
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
This Work is devoted to the use of chemical dosimetry in conditions of intensive radiation exposure at various nuclear and radiation-hazardous facilities. The dependence of change in the optical properties of a number of organic solvents under gamma radiation has been studied and the most effective composition of the dosimetric liquid for the absorbed dose detection having stable readings over time with the minimal measurement error and absence of radiation effect has been determined.

Keywords:
chemical dosimetry, dosimetry system, solution optical density (optical transmission), absorbed gamma radiation dose, measurement exponential relation, calibration. curve
