   <abstract xml:lang="ru">
    <p>Рассмотрено применение тепловых изображений для визуализации небольших по размеру, замаскированных источников радиоактивного излучения по вызываемому ими нагреву объектов в результате выделения тепла при радиоактивном распаде. Промоделировано получение ИК-изображений на тепловом имитаторе радиоактивного источника. Проанализированы известные применения тепловизоров для дистанционной визуализации радиоактивных источников. Представлены ИК-изображения фрагментов облученных ТВЭЛ.</p>

   <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
    <p>The application of thermal images for visualization of small-sized, masked sources of radioactive radiation by the heating of objects caused by them as a result of heat release during radioactive decay is considered. The acquisition of IR images of a thermal imitator of a radioactive source is simulated. Known applications of thermal imagers for remote visualization of radioactive sources are analyzed. IR images of fragments of irradiated fuel elements are presented.</p>
